Prayer Warrior
February 2012
Bridge of Hope, Waterloo, IA. Rev. Kevin Van Wyk and Rev. Armond Floyd. We just baptized two more adults and have several new people connecting in small groups. In November we faced a huge challenge to meet our expenses. We needed a bare minimum of $25,000 by the end of the year. We brought it nearly $30,000!!! The bad news is that the December giving usually sends us into the new year with a good cushion. That is not the case this year. Thus we are in the process of raising support and trying to increase our monthly income by about $2500.
Papio
Creek Church, Papillion, NE. Rev.

It is time to just praise God for His faithfulness to us as all the
things weÕve been praying for are happening. Thank you God for your providence and guidance at
Papio Creek. Praise God with us
for the ability to bring on an Administrative Assistant. Praise God with us for the
ability to start on our ÒMakeoverÓ project. Ask God to empower us to show off and be instruments of His
love with that love month of February upon us.

Cana, Ft. Dodge, IA. Rev. Barb Huisman. Cana had its first retreat and we all are in awe of what God is doing through Cana! We stand in intense expectation of God acting! Lifetree Cafe is nearly full each week and that means many more souls are ripe for a God experience. We have touched over 200 individuals through this ministry opportunity and that just counts the ones who fill out the comment card! Numbers can be enervating but what really energizes those of us at Cana are the changed lives. Help us by praying that we continue to pray really big dreams and that those who continue to enter through Cana continue the journey through other opportunities that will crop up in the next year. Pray for our second annual prayer walk for the city this May. Our dream is to more than double the 40 prayer walkers this time around. Already God is preparing the way by others hearing the story of how Maurice Reformed and Hope Reformed were a force to be reckoned with last May! The community is beginning to buzz with the happenings at Cana as the word gets out that it is a safe place to be allowed to voice aloud questions and doubts - It clears the way for the Spirit to do a mighty work! Our dream of Horse therapy is gathering strength and to that end a group of committed are meeting every two weeks - the challenge of forming a non-profit and the vision to be a part of hope and reconciliation is strong and growing! The growing need being expressed for a recovery house for single women is also gaining momentum..Pray for the leaders and those who will rise up to lead the way as we once again take a risk and walk face first into 2012!
Josh Johnson, Prior Lake.
I want to give God praise for my physical healing that I have had. It had been close to two months since I
was feeling normal, and the Lord removed the cloud from me! I also want to praise God for a unified
direction at harbor. I pray for
continued guidance and wisdom, but this month is about celebration. Amen
